LOOKING AHEAD
Pre-Graduate / Pre-MBA Program
Many international students wish to pursue advanced degrees in the U.S., but are concerned about their English proficiency and the cultural differences that
they will face in this country. To excel in an American graduate school requires that you possess a special set of skills, including English proficiency. As the
School of Arts, Sciences and Technology and the School of Business plan towards future graduate degrees in IUGB, the Intensive English Language Program will work to
create a Pre-Graduate Program for the MBA and Other Graduate Studies that will help our students to prepare for the American graduate school
experience and help them to acquire the abilities that are essential for academic success.
In addition to language learning, programs will also include:
- Active participation in group discussions
- Work on team projects
- Conduct in-depth library and internet research
- Organize American-style research papers
- Deliver sophisticated, clear, and confident presentations
- Listen effectively and take notes during an academic lecture
- Read for accuracy, meaning, and speed
Other Language programs will be introduced in line with IUGB’s future objectives and academic visions.
